Emily and Tyler had their darling little baby boy last thursday and we went to visit him last night. He is such a cute little baby and we are so excited to have another boy in the family. We think he looks a lot like Tyler but they always change so much the first month, it will be fun to watch him get bigger. Congrats Emily and Tyler!
Mabel has found her hands, it's so cute, she grabs toys and will sit in her bouncer inspecting her hands as long as we leave her there. I love Mae.

This morning while we were having crepes for our annual pink breakfast Wes called me a genius, Mabel cute and John awesome, it was pretty funny.
Beth gave Wes this sweet easel for christmas and we finally got a chance to use it. He really likes markers and almost always ends up with some kind of purple or red mustache or goatee (look closeup) it's a good thing they are washable markers. His favorite color is brown and he always asks us to draw buses and elephants.
I made raspberry jam saturday while John was gone working all day. It turned out good but I don't think I will try doing that again while also taking care of a baby and toddler. Maybe next time I will wait until they go to bed for the night or get a babysitter or something. We had toast with jam first thing when John got home and it was delicious.
We were all tired out from a long but fun evening of sushi dinner, sees chocolates, indoor playground/fountain, merry go round, shopping, and movie. The perfect way to celebrate our freedom from our house! I had just enough energy left to take this sweet picture late last night.
Lately Wes loves to share with Mabel. Sometimes he will come to me and say "share share" and I think uh oh what did he try and share with Mabel. Most of the time there is a toy on her face or food on her face or a wipe on her face. It's pretty thoughtful of a 22 month old I have to say, I love that they are becoming closer.
