So Rose and I have been keeping our eye out on Craig's List to see if the person who stole my stroller would list it. Sure enough a week later Rose found a listing for my exact stroller in our neighborhood. Rose called the cops and we set up a place to meet the guy while the cops watched. When the guy pulled the stroller out of the truck the cops pulled up and busted him! His story didn't add up plus we had pictures to prove it was ours. It kind of felt like a victory, justice had been served. They handcuffed the guy and took him away.
I'm so glad that Rose pretty much did everything. She found it, called the cops, arranged to meet with the stroller seller/stealer, then played out the whole set up. I was a mad nervous wreck so I was glad all I had to do was stay in the car and take iphone pictures. After they got the guy the cops came up to me and told me I should be proud of my sister, then they asked her if she wanted to come work for the police department, he said Rose was fit and smart! She pretty much said No Way! It was funny.
So glad to have my stroller back. Maybe some people feel like it is just a silly stroller but for how much I rely on using this thing, not to mention the monetary investment, I was pretty upset when it was gone. I really feel like a part of my life is back on track now. Thanks Rose.

About Wes
Wes asked me to take a picture of him making a funny face.
He is really into having storytime at night. He wants me to tell him a new exciting story every night. It's hard to think of new stories every day, so I asked him to tell me one. He said
"Once upon a time I got some money and I flew away in a jam jar."
We were at the park the other day before it was bedtime, playing with Rose, Grace, and Neal, and it was about time to go. Rose asked Wes if he wanted to come over and read the Book of Mormon before bed. Wes said
"Um, no, it's too business for me."
We got Wes a workbook this past week and He has started writing the alphabet. He gets frustrated sometimes but it is fun to watch him learn new things.

Sprinklers
When we were growing up we lived in our swimsuits and played in the sprinklers all day long, probably one of my fondest memories with my sisters. It has been so hot and humid here that it is pretty miserable to play outside, so I got a cheap hose and sprinkler, I thought maybe the kids would be a little scared but not even slightly. They had a blast.

New Toy
John asked my permission to buy a dirt bike. I can't even remember the last time John bought something for himself or even took some time to do anything fun just for himself. It's really fun watching him have something he enjoys doing. A few days ago John and Wes spent an hour outside washing and fixing up his bike, Wes was in heaven, and it made me happy to watch them together.

It's early and I can't sleep. I woke up and immediately starting thinking and worrying about my to do list, my baby, where we are going to live, why someone stole my stroller, am I going to get a nap today, is wal mart open this early?
Last night someone stole my stroller off of our back porch, now Im stuck because I can't haul two hefty kids around along with this growing belly. Why. Rose took this picture of me a few days ago, the good news is that from this angle I don't really look that pregnant, the bad news is that I no longer have my stroller.

Independence Day
We had the best holiday filled with the most beautiful cakes, kids and fireworks. Besides the extremely hot and humid weather (which put me in quite a bad mood) the day was super fun. I have been working hard to improve my picture taking skills and some of these I am proud of and others not so much but they were fun to take. John grilled us up a delicious dinner while the kids played and we hung out at the park with our friends and family. We all met back up after dark where we had a not-so-legal fireworks show hosted by all the husbands who had driven across the state line to pick up all the fun fireworks (no worries, they were harmless). We are all covered in bug bites but had such a fun day. I'm really glad we live in this country, and especially glad for those who fought to make it so great!

Temple
Our ward had a temple day for the kids last week and it was so much fun to be able to take them. They got a tour around the outside and then they got to go inside and talk to the temple presidency about the important and special things that happen in the temple. I think the rocks and waterfalls were some of their favorite parts. The Chicago temple is soooo beautiful, I just love the marble tiles that make up the whole outside, they were so gorgeous.

Chicago
Cari Rose and I spent the day in Chicago and I had such a blast! We went to the Randolph Street Flea Market, which had tons of cool vintage and antique treasures and then headed out to lunch at the Orange Cafe. We found a whole little area of downtown that had some of our favorite designer stores, we were in heaven it was so fun. I love my sisters.

also, I might have to buy that lamp
