We go to lots of Parks

Wes loves swings, if you haven't noticed already. Mae is sucking on her toe like crazy in this picture, she was really hungry.

I love Family Time

We don't get to see John much, he works ten to twelve hours a day, six days a week. But last week he lost his voice which made it hard to work so he got to hang out with us for a few days, it was so fun. We took the kids to a super fun park, went on walks and went shopping together. Wes loved having daddy around. I feel like we rarely get pictures all together but here is a good one. Wes' cheeks are so pink from running around non stop playing on all the fun toys.

Yuck

We tried starting Mae on solid food this week and we cannot get her to cooperate. She wants to cry every time we start to feed her, she hates it. What am I going to do with her?

Happy Birthday Rose

Rose is pretty. Rose is smart. Rose is a good mom (to Grace and Wes and Mae and Me). And Rose is one of the sweetest people I know. And Rose had a birthday. Happy Birthday Rose.

Zoo

It was fun. I'm exhausted. We will go back later to see the other two-thirds later this summer. Wes is still talking about the Zebras, Elephants and Hippos, he really liked the Hippos.

Tuesday

I had a wonderful Mother's Day full of delicious food and relaxation. We are off to the Zoo today, our first DC adventure, it should be fun/exhausting/exciting!

I forgot all about photo booth so I had fun playing on it with Mae, I also found these pictures of me and John we took a few years ago, pretty silly.

My Beautiful Mae

Six months already! I love this girl so much, she is such a dream baby. So pretty and so sweet. She has yet to start sitting or try solid foods but she is the sweetest little baby you will ever meet. She sleeps when we tell her, smiles when we want her to and just adores everyone in our family. She's perfect.

Happy Day

John let me sleep in and then took me shopping at Sur La Table and let me get whatever I wanted, we went out to lunch at a delicious restaurant and then I dropped him off at work. Rose was watching the kids for us and when I got back we went to the Vienna Botanical Gardens, which were so beautiful. Rose and Josh had us over for a bbq with mini gourmet burgers and homemade fries and topped it off with my favorite chocolate cake, which I am still enjoying. I got to hear from most of my family and friends. It was a perfect birthday weekend!
