Idaho

We have spent the last three weekends in Idaho helping Rick and Anne move into their new beautiful house and saying goodbye to our fun filled summer. We said farewell to the old house and remembered the smells of christmas and the sounds of growing up and picked some of the last beans and tomatoes. We played a few rounds of golf and a baseball game. Had a homemade pizza party. Celebrated John's birthday with a homegrown apple pie. And had a Labor Day pic nic in the park.

Delicious Beans

Well I decided to make my own baby food for many reasons but mainly because I can. It's super easy, check out this site for some good info. Wes loves green beans and apples but isn't too sure about peaches and cereal yet, surprisingly he liked sucking on the pickle john gave him, he pretty much eats like a champ to matter what you give him. Im hoping that food will fill the void of not having his miracle blanket anymore, we are trying to wean him from it this week, so far not so good, we will see.
