New stuff

A few new things:

- we packed up all our things and moved to DC, we are crazy
- I pray that our house will be done correctly
- I am putting a lot of faith in a couple of people to see that our house is just right when we return
- I am so glad to be out here with Rose & Josh and Emily & Tyler
- I ripped by big toenail completely off
- spring is here
- I spent $400 at costco just on groceries in one trip
- we spent Easter in the car probably in several states (just like the last two years)
- we had an easter egg hunt with Nathan and Chelsea in Denver and here with Rose and her kids
- we got a vitamix and have been making smoothies like crazy
- I love H&M kids
- I also love my family (but thats not new)

John and I are featured in an article, Im not sure how I feel about having my picture that big in public but you can read it if you want.

Cute face

I could eat these cheeks! Vera started solids last week, my attempt at giving her more food so she will sleep better :) She is such a doll, I really love this age.

Birthday Parade

Wes has been so into bikes and scooters lately that we decided to have a parade for his party. The kids tied a balloon to their bike and some streamers and rode around our circle. The best birthday party idea. Ever. I didn't have to have 30 kids with 30 cupcakes in our house, we just played outside, it was great. And it happened to be the warmest day of the month, awesome. Wes was so excited to be with friends and family playing outside.

Mae Mae

Usually the kids wake up before us, they make great alarm clocks, but Mae slept in one morning last week so I snuck upstairs and took a few pictures of her. She always sleeps with her thumb in her mouth and her "soft blankie". She's a beauty.

Birthday Boy

Wes turned four this week! I can't believe it, he is getting so big and mature and I just love him!

He is really into eating green things lately (to grow muscles) and flexing his muscles. He is also really into riding bikes and his new scooter he got for his birthday.

House Update

Our house is starting to look more like a house. The further along we get the more stressful and exciting it becomes. It's been fun planning all the details out and seeing things come together. More updates to come…
