Tummy

Ok here I am, at 35 weeks (almost), I'm feeling pretty big and starting to get anxious. My measurements are right on and the baby is looking healthy.

Done

We finished the couch last night. It is so nice to have a comfy couch. The best part is that it was all John's idea and he did all the work! We had to repair the hardwood frame in the back but it should be even stronger than it was in the first place. There is a small tear in the back where it was broken but we are going to get a slipcover made anyway so all that wont matter. We just need to keep it clean until we get the slipcover done.

Baby Projects

We decided to get each of our children a framed print by an illustrator for their rooms, Wes has his robots by David Plunkert, and we got this print by Sarah Jane for the nursery. I used some fabric that will be used in the nursery to frame the print and cover this wooden frame, which I will probably put a family photo in or something. Now we just need to actually get a nursery or even a small space for the baby and all her stuff!

Couch

We just bought this couch last night. John talked them down to $150, a serious steal. We have some cleaning and a few repairs to do since it was a floor model so I will post pictures when we are done.

Saturday

Started with delicious aebelskivers and a quick house cleaning. Hit up a neighborhood garage sale consisting of one lame house with only junk for sale. Then came home to watch another victorious BYU game. Picked up Nathan and Chelsea and went to the Spanish Fork Harvest Festival, where we saw ponies, a juggler, and had yummy tri-tip sandwiches and honey butter scones. A pretty great fall Saturday.

Where's Waldo . . . I mean Wesley

Sometimes when Wes is having roomtime he likes to play in the farthest corner of the room with his toys. If he ever calls out for help he is usually stuck in the corner or can't get out of his toy bin. It makes me laugh.

So Big

I'm really glad that we will be having another baby soon because Wes is way too grown up, he is definitely no longer a baby. He went to nursery for the first time today and it went pretty well, aside from a few hits and not sharing, but that is expected right? Also last week we decided to try and see another movie in the theater with Wes, last time we didn't last through the previews, this time he just sat on our laps and watched the whole thing! It was amazing. It was only the third movie we have seen in the theater since Wes was born, we need to get out more. Wes also tells us when he needs a diaper change and what he wants to eat for breakfast as soon as we get him up in the morning (dereal, dodurt, datder, duice). It just goes by way too fast!
